The Michigan Institute for Imaging Technology and Translation (MIITT) in the Department of Radiology (Radiology scholarships) at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA is recruiting a postdoctoral fellow under the direction of Dr. Nicole Seiberlich (co-Director of MIITT) to complete MRI technology development and translational studies.

The primary focus of research will be in MRI technology development and its clinical translation, and specific projects will include image acquisition and reconstruction, quantitative MRI, interventional MRI, machine learning and artificial intelligence, and translation of novel technologies to clinical applications. Projects will include pulse sequence development, image reconstruction, and image analysis, and all projects will have a clinical translational emphasis. Translational projects will require the postdoctoral fellow to work with faculty to plan study methods, draft and submit IRB protocols, and carry out the project as detailed.

The postdoctoral fellow will be expected to prepare manuscripts and conference abstracts related to projects and will be expected to prepare preliminary data for grant proposals. Dr. Seiberlich will also work closely with postdoctoral fellow to prepare plans for career development and advancement, and will support the fellow in these efforts.
