The Parker Lab in the Department of Computational Medicine & Bioinformatics, University of Michigan is seeking a bioinformatician to perform statistical genetic analysis of big data in partnership with the program director. This includes genetic, epigenomic, transcriptome, single cell and population data. Disseminating findings at national professional meetings. Write for proposal applications and perform critical review of scientific literature. Train Ph.D., masters, and undergraduate (latest undergraduate scholarship positions) students, as well as postdoctoral fellows in project design and data analysis. Study design, planning for future research projects.

Ph.D. level training in Bioinformatics (latest Bioinformatics scholarship positions) or related field, demonstrated excellence in publications and presentations, and expert coding skills with Perl/Python and R. Quantitative genetics (genetics scholarships) training.
