British Council Great Scholarship Indonesia

A master scholarship is available in UK. The funding allows successful candidates to work for two years in the first instance. Applications should be submitted as soon as possible.

Hello, my name's Rebecca Tinker and I’m the NTU Representative for Indonesia. I'm delighted you're considering studying with us and if you have any questions I'll be happy to help. We have a strong Indonesian community here. There are plenty of social events throughout the year including Indo Fest which is the biggest Indonesian event in the UK. I visit Indonesia a lot and love meeting new students and families personally to give advice and guidance. If you'd like us to keep in touch please register with us and we'll send you updates on what's happening at the University. We'll also let you know if I'm visiting Indonesia so we can arrange to meet if you wish - or you can contact me directly.

This year, in partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, we are offering one postgraduate scholarship of 10,000 to students in Indonesia applying for postgraduate studies in any subject. This scholarship scheme is part of the "GREAT Scholarships 2020" campaign, which has been launched by the British Council together with UK (UK scholarships) universities to support more students to access excellent UK higher education opportunities. For more information on the GREAT Scholarships 2020, please visit the British Council's website in Indonesia. To apply please complete our application form.

If you have an offer to study with us in September 2020 you can apply for one of our scholarships. Postgraduate students can apply for 4,000 towards their studies. We also have a range of other international scholarships.

We have a friendly and welcoming Indonesian community at NTU. This includes our very own Indonesian Society who organise social events throughout the year. Find out more and get in touch with them here.

Our team of University Chaplains offer opportunities to discover, explore and practice your faith, whether that is through specific religious services, or more spiritual spaces including mindfulness and meditation. We provide facilities for prayer and other faith activities across all campuses and Nottingham offers Mosques, churches and places of worship for all faiths.

Meet one of our students from Indonesia “You will be surprised at how much growth (academically, personally and professionally) you can achieve just within one year of your degree with the endless opportunities offered on campus. This will certainly be one of the most intense year of your life, but just enjoy the journey, be ready to network and make lifetime friends and enjoy the lovely UK weather.” Read more about Indira’s student story here.
