Senior Teaching Associate at University of Cambridge

A new lecturer position is available at University of Cambridge. This position is available for two years. Applicants should apply before April 13, 2020.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 1 years in the first instance.

The Faculty of Economics seeks applications for the post of Senior Teaching Associate available from 1 September 2020 or soon after for one year.

The successful candidate(s) will teach both undergraduates and postgraduates primarily in Macroeconomics.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate evidence of recognition and excellence in teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level.

Candidates should ask two referees to write directly on their behalf to the Secretary of the Selection Committee appsec@econ.cam.ac.uk by the closing date.

The successful candidate will be expected to undertake teaching (which may be in the form of lectures, seminars and classes) and will also be expected to examine as required and to undertake administrative tasks as directed by the Faculty Board.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate a potential for an effective contribution to teaching and to their subject in areas other than teaching, such as general contribution to their discipline and administration.
