The Monash Business School is structured into seven discipline-based departments (Accounting, Banking and Finance, Business Law and Taxation, Econometrics and Business Statistics, Economics, Management, and Marketing) along with the specialist Leadership and Executive Education unit and a number of research centres, units and groups in specialist areas such as behavioural economics, development economics, employment and work, finance, global business, and retail studies. The Monash Business School operates across all three Australian campuses (Caulfield, Clayton and Peninsula) and, together with the Business School in Malaysia, makes up Monash University's Faculty of Business and Economics. It is structured into seven discipline-based departments (Accounting, Banking and Finance, Business Law and Taxation, Econometrics and Business Statistics, Economics, Management, and Marketing) as well as a number of research centres, units and groups in specialist areas such as behavioural economics, development economics, employment and work, and retail studies.

Monash Business School has an exciting opportunity for a Professor and Associate Dean (Research Enterprise) to join our high-performing team. A key senior leadership role, the position leads the Faculty's research income and industry research agenda and acts to ensure the continual growth and diversification of its research income streams.

To be successfully considered for this role, you will have demonstrated experience in establishing a strong, personal program of research capable of attracting substantial external funding and grant allocation bodies. An international leader in a discipline of business or economics or related field with a reputation of being an expert in the field (published in top tier journals) and delivering large scale, transformational business change within a research industry environment.

With a flexible attitude and the ability to adapt to any circumstance, you will be able to consult and liaise confidently with senior-level stakeholders. High attention to detail with the ability to interpret policy and legal documents is required. You will also have demonstrable experience liaising with government bodies both national and international, ensuring compliance with numerous frameworks and policies. As a strong leader, you will strive towards excellence at all times and continue to maintain our positive culture and morale.
