Postdoctoral Postdoc Position in Genomics at University of North Carolina Chapel Hill

University of North Carolina Chapel Hill is pleased to invite applicants to apply for a new opening postdoctoral scholar position in molecular biology. Applicants should apply as soon as possible.

The Raab Laboratory (raablab.web.unc.edu) is seeking a postdoctoral scholar to lead a project studying the role of chromatin remodeling complexes in gene regulation and cancer. Our lab is interested in how chromatin complexes assemble and how variations in the structure affect function. We use a variety of genomics, molecular biology, biochemical, and computational techniques to understand how chromatin remodeling complexes function. These complexes are frequently mutated in cancer and we aim to understand how their dysregulation plays a key factor in this process. The Raab lab is located in the Department of Genetics and is a member of the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center. UNC has an exceptional chromatin biology group ( https://www.med.unc.edu/epigenetics/) and training program ( Cancer Epigenetics Training Program -https://unclineberger.org/cancer-epigenetics-training-program/) Location: Chapel Hill is an attractive, safe, and diverse college town that ranks as one of the best places to live in the United States (https://www.unc.edu/life/about-the-city/).
