Research Fellow in Rheumatology at Monash University

Remuneration: $99,147 – $117,738 pa Level B (plus 9.5% employer superannuation)(Pro-rata of for part-time)

TheDepartment of Medicineis the largest Department within the School of Clinical Sciences at Monash Health, comprising more than 200 staff, including 60 EFT academics and 62 PhD students. The academic activities are divided into ten University Centres or groups. The primary purpose of this position is to conduct research either as a member of a team or independently using the data from lupus registries, and the production of conference and seminar papers and publications from that research.

Based at the Monash Medical Centre and reporting to a supportive Head of School, the appointed Research Fellow will provide statistical support to students and staff members in the Rheumatology Research Group within the Centre for Inflammatory Diseases in the Department of Medicine. Experience in conducting longitudinal data analysis, model validation studies using statistical software packages (e.g. Stata/R) and writing analysis/summary reports are required.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing and forward-looking department which has continually advanced since inception. The successful applicant will have a doctoral or Masters level tertiary qualification in biostatistics or equivalent qualifications with some research experience.

This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
