So if you're looking for the next chapter in your career, it's here. You'll be given the opportunity to challenge yourself, build on your skills, and make a significant contribution to a workplace that's filled with energetic and inspiring people. Talent thrives here - and so do truly satisfying careers.

The Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences, is the largest faculty at Monash University and offers the most comprehensive suite of professional health training in Victoria. We consistently rank in the top 40 universities worldwide for clinical, pre-clinical and health sciences. The School of Primary and Allied Health Care (SPAHC) aims to be Australia's leading centre of primary and allied health care education and research, building on existing strengths and incorporates two new research centres: the Monash Addiction Research Centre, and the Rehabilitation, Ageing and Independent Living (RAIL) Research Centre.

There are presently untapped opportunities within the School to develop inter-disciplinary student clinics that may serve as a base for student education, research and have a direct impact on the health and well-being of our community. These opportunities may be operationalised in collaboration with partner organisations. They may be undertaken through traditional face-to-face formats at the Peninsula Campus, be mobile services that see patients at their place of residence, or use telehealth interaction formats.

Based at our Peninsula Campus and reporting to a supportive Head of School, the Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor will be required to undertake planning and preparation tasks for the establishment of clinics related to major initiatives taking place through the School including the Victoria Sport initiative, the National Centre for Healthy Ageing, and the Rehabilitation, Ageing and Independent Living Research Centre.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a significant initiative within a growing and forward-looking department which has continually advanced since inception. The successful applicant will have a doctoral or masters qualification in the relevant discipline area or equivalent accreditation and standing and/or recognised significant experience in the relevant discipline area. The successful applicant will be appointed at either Level B, or Level C depending on their qualifications and level of experience. Please specify in your cover letter the level that you are applying for.

This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.

At Monash University, we are committed to being a Child Safe organisation. This position at the University will require the incumbent to hold a valid Working with Children Check and a satisfactory Police Check.

Your application must address the selection criteria. Please refer to “How to apply for Monash Jobs”
