School of Social and Political Science Macqueen Scholarship at University of Edinburgh

Applicants are invited to apply for a master scholarship in political science in UK. The funding allows successful candidate to work for two years. Applications will be evaluated immediately.

A generous donation from the Julie-Ann Macqueen Trust will fund a MSc by Research in Social and Political Science scholarship researching and benefiting one-parent families.

One award covering tuition fees at the Home/EU fee rate and a maintenance stipend of 14,000 is on offer to applicants for MSc by Research in Social and Political Science.

The award is made for one year for full time students or two years pro-rata for part-time students.

Students liable to pay international fees may combine the Macqueen Scholarship with other Scholarships, to cover all fee costs.

This award has been made possible by a generous donation from The Julie-Ann Macqueen Trust. Ms Macqueen played a leading role in bringing the struggles of single-parent families to the attention of the public and policy and law-makers.

This award is available to students intending to commence MSc by Research in Social and Political Science in September 2020 on either a full-time or part-time basis.
