University of Michigan, USA is inviting excellent candidates to apply for a postdoctoral scholar position in biochemistry. The funding allows successful candidate to work for two years. Applications will be evaluated on a continuous basis.

Assist two postdoctoral scientists in analyses of mouse tissues for levels of various proteins and RNAs related to aging, drug effects, and stress resistance. Typical activities include immunoblotting, RT-PCR, tissue preparation, image quantitation, tissue culture, and basic data analysis tasks.

BA or BS in biology or chemistry, plus at least two years of full time experience working in a modern biochemistry or cell biology laboratory.

This position may be underfilled at a lower classification depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
