Applications are invited for a postdoctoral associate position to join University of Cambridge. Successful candidate will have funding to work and study for 2 years in UK. Applications are invited up to January 13, 2020.

Applicants must have expert knowledge of different battery technologies, fabrication of 2D materials-based electrodes, electrochemical measurements using cyclic voltammetry and impedance measurement systems. The experimental work to be undertaken will be: synthesis of 2D materials by chemical exfoliation, characterization using spectroscopic and microscopy techniques, fabrication of sodium ion cells, measurement of electrocatalytic properties and battery cell performance.
The successful candidate will work in the 2D Materials and Devices Group under the supervision of Professor Manish Chhowalla.
The position is available immediately. It is for 1 year in the first instance with the possibility to be extended to 2 years.
Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 12 months in the first instance.
