A post-doctoral position in parternship with a pharmaceutical company is available to develop new synthetic techniques that will advance drug discovery. The successful postdoctoral fellow will develop novel reaction methodologies using traditional and modern synthetic techniques. The reactions will be applied in robotic high-throughput experimentation campaigns and the compounds produced will be submitted to biochemical assays. The project will span labs in industry and academia, so strong communication and collaborative skills are a must.

The successful post-doctoral candidate will develop new reaction methods for application in miniaturized library synthesis and biochemical testing. Communication of results with an industrial team will require excellent organizational and communication skills. Results from this exploratory research will be submitted for publication in high impact journals.
