The main duties will involve preparation and of lignin-carbohydrate complexes from cell walls. The post holder will prepare manuscripts for publication and present the results in the research group and at international collaborative meetings. The post holder will additionally supervise from time to time undergraduate and graduate students in conducting research into plant cell walls.
The successful candidates should hold a Degree (or be close to completion a PhD) in plant biochemistry or a related field.
Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 9 months in the first instance.
