Applications are invited for a Research Associate position in the group of Dr Angela Kedgley. The group investigates the effects of ageing and joint pathologies in the upper limb using both experimental and computational methods. The post is funded by the Imperial College MSk Accelerator Proof of Concept Award Competition.

You must have a PhD in (or equivalent experience) in computing, engineering, or physical sciences, experience working in the clinical environment, a high level of competence in optical motion capture techniques and be proficient in the use of appropriate scientific software, specifically including MATLAB. Knowledge of hand anatomy, function, and clinical assessment is also essential, as is the ability to speak with members of the public and conduct interviews.

*Candidates who have not yet been officially awarded their PhD will be appointed as Research Assistant within the salary range 35,477 – 38,566 per annum.
