The Faculty of Arts at Monash University is one of the most diverse and dynamic Arts Faculties in Australia. The School of Languages, Literatures Cultures and Linguistics is one of the largest schools in the Faculty and conducts research in the disciplines of literary and cultural studies, linguistics and applied linguistics, history and the social sciences.
The Lecturer/ Senior Lecturer in Indonesian Studies will provide academic leadership in the Indonesian Studies major, assuming responsibility for its teaching while pursuing an active research agenda. The successful applicant will take on a significant role in the Herb Feith Indonesian Studies Centre, build links with the Monash Intercultural Lab and make a leading contribution to the Global Immersion Guarantee Program in Indonesia.
This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
