The Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences, is the largest faculty at Monash University, and offers the most comprehensive suite of professional health training in Victoria. We consistently rank in the top 40 universities worldwide for clinical, pre-clinical and health sciences.

This particular position will be supporting research in the Women's Health Physiotherapy Research unit at Monash University. The group's research is focused on pelvic floor muscle measurement studies and conservative therapies to treat pelvic floor dysfunction: pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain, incontinence and pelvic floor problems following pelvic surgery, including for pelvic and breast cancer. We are hoping to bolster the team with the resources it needs to achieve quality research outcomes.

Working under the supervision of an experienced and supportive Associate Professor, the Research Fellow will contribute to the research culture, capacity and capability of higher degree by research students within the women's health physiotherapy team, and other academics in the department. Further, this position will provide the staff member with the opportunity and experience to further develop their own research career, under the mentorship and supervision of more experienced researchers.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing school who have continually improved since inception. The successful applicant will have an honours degree in the relevant discipline or have equivalent qualifications and experience, with experience in working with a reference database manager highly desirable.

This role is a part-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.

The successful applicant will be appointed at either Level A or Level B based on experience.
