We have an exciting opportunity for a Research Fellow to join the newly established ARC Industrial Transformation Training Centre for Fragment Based Design. As the successful candidate, you will have the opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary team, working with industry partners and international collaborators on fragment-based drug design projects.
Our ideal candidate will have a PhD in synthetic or medicinal chemistry with experience in the design, synthesis, purification and characterisation of small molecules. Knowledge and expertise in small molecule analysis by NMR spectroscopy will be highly regarded.
For this position you will have demonstrated proposal preparation skills, experience in supervising and working with honours or postgraduate students within the discipline, and excellent organisational skills.
This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
