Postdoc Fellow at University of Hong Kong

Applicants are invited to apply for a postdoc position in molecular biology at University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong. This fellowship is last for two years and posible to extend. Applicants should apply before July 17, 2019.

Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Microbiology (Ref.: 496902), to commence on September 2, 2019 for two years, with the possibility of renewal, subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Science, Molecular Biology, or a related discipline, with a proven track record in antimicrobial resistance genomics research and competence in molecular techniques. Applicants with formal training in microbial or medical bioinformatics would have an advantage. The appointee will mentor junior research members, and write scientific publications and grant proposals. He/She will conduct research under the supervision of Dr. P.L. Ho. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
