An exciting opportunity exists for a Lecturer to join the Department of Nutrition, Dietetics and Food at the School of Clinical Sciences at Monash Health. The primary focus of this position is to maintain and develop state of the art isotope ratio mass spectrometric techniques in measuring energy consumption and metabolism in human subjects and be world-leading in this area.

You will report to the Head of Department, Nutrition, Dietetics and Food and be responsible for the conduct of research, the preparation and delivery of lectures and seminars, initiation and development of subject material, supervision of major honours or postgraduate research projects, marking and assessment and the supervision of honours and postgraduate students.

You must have a doctoral qualification relevant to nutrition, possess a high level of interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, a solid track record of refereed research publications, demonstrated strong record of teaching experience in a tertiary environment and experience in curriculum and subject material development.

This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
