Research Assistant Department of General Practice

This particular position will support the implementation and evaluation of a health services model from Canada to the South East Melbourne region. The "Pop-Up" intervention is an exciting and innovative community intervention designed to increase access to essential primary health care (PHC), by mobilising key PHC providers to an onsite series of community events. The Medical Research Futures Fund (MRFF) funds the project.

Working in a dynamic team within Monash University's Department of General Practice and alongside the Project Coordinator, the Research Assistant will engage with external stakeholders, work alongside community organisations and play a major role in the evaluation of the "Pop-Ups". The role will involve data collection in the field, liaising with stakeholders, including our Canadian academic colleagues, and having significant input into data analysis.

The successful applicant will have an honours degree in the relevant discipline or have equivalent qualifications and experience.

Demonstrated experience in collecting and analysing qualitative data is essential, and experience with mixed methods research is highly desirable.

This role is a part-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
