A Level A research-only academic is expected to contribute towards the research effort of the university and to develop their research expertise through the pursuit of defined projects relevant to the particular field of research.
The post will perform a range of significant and complex technical activities that play a critical role in supporting the delivery of novel methods for in situ structural biology. This includes overseeing and undertaking the development of algorithms and methods for real time bio-image analysis in the de Marco and Whisstock laboratories.
The successful applicant will have a PhD in Structural Biology or related discipline, with prior experience in cryo-electron tomography.
This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
