Unestablished Lecturer at University of Cambridge

A new opening lecturer position in psychology is available at University of Cambridge, UK. The initial contract for this position is 2 years and posible to extend. The deadline for applying is February 22, 2019.

The Department of Psychology and the Centre for Family Research invite applications for an Unestablished University Lectureship to be taken up from 1st September 2019. The position is half-time for 2 years.

The Lectureship will cover Professor Susan Golombok’s departmental teaching and administrative duties while she is engaged in a Wellcome Trust Collaborative Award.

Applicants should have research and teaching expertise in the psychology of parenting and child development, particularly in relation to new family forms such as lesbian mother families, gay father families, single mothers by choice and families created by assisted reproductive technologies including in vitro fertilisation (IVF), donor insemination, egg donation and surrogacy.

Applicants must have a good first degree and a PhD in Psychology on a relevant topic, and strong evidence of research excellence.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 2 years in the first instance.
