Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in nursing or healthcare-related disciplines, with a proven publication record. They should demonstrate a strong commitment to research and teaching, and be able to contribute to the enhancement and development of nursing and healthcare related courses offered by the School/Faculty. They should have excellent communication, interpersonal and management skills, and be able to work independently. Research will be the major focus. The appointee must be active in research and educational innovations. He/She is expected to obtain external funding from competitive research schemes, and to conduct high-impact independent research. He/She will also take up some teaching duties at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary.
