Applications are invited for a postdoc position in catalysis to join Imperial College London, UK. The funding allows successful candidate to work for 12 months. Applications should be sent before February 17, 2019.

This is an UKRI sponsored, multi-disciplinary project with a team of collaborators from other departments. The project supervisors are Professor George Britovsek (Professor of Chemistry), Dr. Charles Romain (Junior Research Fellow) and Dr. Agi Brandt-Talbot (Imperial College Research Fellow). The role will involve collaboration with team members both within the department and across Imperial College, on developing methods for sustainable polymer synthesis, reuse and recycling.
- A PhD (or equivalent) in Chemistry or related area such as Materials Science - Experience in polymer synthesis and polymer characterisation - Proven publication track record, commensurate with career stage - Experience of conducting polymerisation reactions - Knowledge of polymer characterisation techniques including NMR, GPC and DSC - Understanding of polymer crosslinking and depolymerisation of polyesters - Excellent verbal and written communication skills This post is fixed term for 12 months.
