Clinical Research Fellow at Imperial College London

Imperial College London is pleased to invite applicants to apply for a new opening postdoc position in medical sciences. Successful candidate will have funding to work and study for 6 months in UK. This position is closed on March 07, 2019.

This is an exciting opportunity for junior doctors who will have completed Foundation Year 2 training and have a PhD (or MSc with significant research experience) in a scientific area relevant to the Institute, to undertake a research placement at the world leading MRC London Institute of Medical Sciences (LMS)/Institute of Clinical Sciences, Imperial College commencing between 1 October 2019 and 1st April 2020.

This Fellowship will provide funding for a period of research training to build on existing research skill-sets established during an MSc or PhD, to establish a clinical academic career. It is part of a clinical academic training programme provided by the Institute for the strongest of candidates.

Funding will cover the Fellow's salary plus research consumables for 6 months.

Support will be provided to find an appropriate project and for subsequent applications for ACF or Clinical Lectureships, where appropriate.
