Research Fellow at University of Michigan

University of Michigan is pleased to invite applicants to apply for a new opening postdoctoral associate position in molecular biology. Applications will be evaluated on a continuous basis.

These research projects involve stem cells, immune cells, regulatory factors, and three-dimensional tissue regeneration in animal models. The projects are NIH-supported and in the areas of cardiovascular and orthopedic tissue regeneration. Successful candidates will be highly motivated individuals with strong research capabilities. The candidates have to be able to design and carry out experiments substantially independently. The researchers will also assist the PI to train new lab members, manage lab equipment and inventories, and write research manuscripts and documents.

The candidates must have a PhD or equivalent degree in biochemistry/molecular biology, life science, bioengineering/biotechnology or a closely related discipline. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required. A strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals is desired. Research experience in animal surgery is not required but considered a plus.

This position is located at the School of Dentistry at 1011 N. University Avenue, Ann Arbor, MI 48109-1078.
