Research Fellow at University of Michigan

University of Michigan, USA has an opening postdoctoral scholar position in molecular imaging. Applicants should apply as soon as possible.

We have an immediate opening within the Center for Molecular Imaging in the Department of Radiology for a Ph.D. level candidate in Chemistry, Physics or related field. The candidate is required to have a strong background in the use of LC-MS/MS along with a demonstrated ability to work independently in trouble shooting system issues. High proficiency in LC-MS/MS and familiarity and the ability to learn and implement MALDI/DESI MS imaging techniques is also required. The candidate is expected to be a team player and have excellent oral and written communication skills.

Conscientious, responsible person who is interested in being a member of a team of graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and other staff members working on molecular imaging and translational assays tailored to the design and optimization of molecularly targeted agents for imaging and treatment of diseases. Candidate must have excellent organizational and communications skills and be interested in learning new skills.

Ph.D. level. The candidate is required to have a strong background in LC-MS along with a demonstrated ability to work independently in the design and development of small molecule candidates of biological interest in oncology. High proficiency in LC-MS/MS and familiarity with MALDI and DESI MS molecular imaging techniques is also required. Must be able to work effectively with other research members to efficiently process and analyze samples.
