Project description

This doctoral student position is available in the laboratory headed by Dr. Nelson Gekara. The project addresses mechanisms of innate immune regulation. The innate immune system is essential for defence against infections but require tight regulation to avert self-destruction (e.g. during sepsis or autoimmune diseases). The goal of this project is to understand mechanisms that underlie this regulation and their impact on the outcome of infection and inflammation diseases.
