Early Stage Researcher PhD Fellowship at Uppsala University

The ESR will engage in in-vitro as well as clinical studies that will: i) Investigate the effects on glucose uptake in human adipose cells and its interactions with insulin signalling. ii) Elucidate the effects on lipolysis, lipid storage and the expression genes regulating lipid metabolism (including fatty acid synthesis and storage as well as oxidation).
