Research Fellow at Australian National University

The Battery Storage and Grid Integration Program, within the Research School of Engineering, is revolutionising the way renewable energy and energy storage technology is integrated into the electricity grid.

Our multidisciplinary research team is looking for a research fellow to investigatequestions relating to the interaction between energy users and the rapidly changing energy landscape in Australia.

We expect that the candidate might have a background in wide range of areas e.g. social science, economics, anthropology or another related field. Candidates should have strong track record in research, industry or policy development. Previous experience working with community and/or focus groups or in a social research setting will be an advantage, as well as a demonstrated interest in how energy change might be affected by social processes, customs, traditions, behaviours, and policies.
