Applications are invited for a postdoc position in medical sciences to join Imperial College London. Candidates are welcome before January 20, 2019.

This commercially-funded project aims to develop novel approaches for high-throughput quantitative phenotyping of up to 100,000 subjects in UK Biobank with cardiac MR imaging. The post will be focussed on developing fully automated and efficient approaches for whole-heart segmentation and co-registration - specifically with high-temporal resolution motion tracking.
We are seeking a talented and highly skilled postdoctoral researcher with a background in medical image analysis and machine learning. The candidate should have a record of accomplishment in image segmentation.
The candidate should also be familiar with dimensionality reduction techniques and linear regression modelling - enabling the discovery of associations between genetic variants and complex motion traits.
The candidate will work in a vibrant multi-disciplinary team that crosses the domains of machine learning, clinical imaging and genetics in a world-leading research environment. The post holder will have the opportunity to liaise with an extensive network of collaborators, attend scientific conferences, and publish the results of their work in top journals.
