Reporting to the Director, the Research Fellow will contribute to the research efforts of the Institute of Vector-Borne Disease (IVbD) on the potential for arboviruses to evolve and escape Wolbachia-mediated inhibition of arbovirus-replication.

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for conducting research both individually and as part of a team. You will be responsible for experimental design, operation of advanced laboratory and technical equipment, and having involvement in relevant professional meetings with internal and external stakeholders.

Combined with a PhD in a relevant discipline, you will have excellent problem-solving skills, well developed organisational skills and a keen desire to learn and develop your capabilities.
