Research Assistant at University of Cambridge

University of Cambridge is delighted to offer a postdoctoral associate position. This fellowship is last for 3 years and posible to extend. Potential candidates should apply before January 01, 2019.

Applications are invited for a research assistant position in infectious diseases studying a novel restriction factor affecting HIV, funded by a Medical Research Council award, to work with Professor Andrew Lever and Dr Manj Sandhu with Co Investigators Dr HP Mok and Dr Harriet Groom.

Applicants should have a degree and ideally some experience in molecular biological techniques and tissue culture, preferably at CL2, and virus handling.

Experience with HIV under Containment Level 3 (CL3) conditions would be advantageous however training to work at CL3 would be provided as required.
