Postdoc Position at University of Cambridge

University of Cambridge, UK is inviting applicants to apply for a postdoctoral scholar position. Successful candidate will have funding to work and study for 3 years in UK. The deadline for applying is January 01, 2019.

Applications are invited for a post-doctoral research associate position in infectious diseases, studying a novel restriction factor affecting HIV, funded by a Medical Research Council award to work with Professor Andrew Lever and Dr Manj Sandhu together with Co Investigators Dr HP Mok and Dr Harriet Groom.

The position requires a post-doctoral scientist with excellent laboratory skills in addition to a virological background.

Experience working with conventional molecular biological and tissue culture techniques is essential. Experience with HIV under Containment Level 3 (CL3) conditions would be advantageous however training to work at CL3 would be provided if necessary.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 3 years in the first instance.
