Internship in International Criminal Law and International Human Rights Law

University of Amsterdam is delighted to offer a internship position in international law. Eligible candidates should submit the applications before December 03, 2018.

The Asser Institute is a research centre for international and European law in The Hague. Its mission is to contribute to the development of international and European law by conducting independent fundamental research, policy-oriented research, and applied legal research, as well as by initiating and facilitating academic and expert meetings, (professional) education, and public events with a view to disseminating knowledge of international and European law.

The Asser Instituut offers recently graduated or advanced law students the opportunity to enrich their knowledge with practical experience of working in the field of public international law, with a focus on international criminal law and international human rights law and/or humanitarian law.

The Institute currently offers one intern position.

In addition to these tasks, you may be required to help with the organisation of our events and the subsequent drafting of reports.

You will be appointed to the Faculty of Law and seconded to the Asser Institute.

We offer this internshipto a recently graduated or an advanced law student specialising in international criminal law and international human rights law and/or international humanitarian lawfor a duration of six months. We offer a stipend of 300 to 450 per month, depending on level of education.
