The Assistant Lecturer will have a dynamic role coordinating and running the practical and tutorial classes for second and third-year genetics units within the School of Biological Sciences.

The position will involve preparation of practical teaching materials, development and refinement of laboratory classes, running laboratory classes, supervising and advising Teaching Associates, consulting with students, preparing, supervising and marking tests and contributing to active learning workshops.

You will possess a high level of interpersonal skills and a demonstrated record of educational design and teaching experience in a tertiary environment.

This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
