Assistant Lecturer at Monash University

The sub-Faculty of Biomedical and Physhological Sciences (FBPS) are looking for an assistant lecturer who will contribute to the teaching and curriculum development within the Centre for Human Anatomy Education (CHAE). In addition to conducting tutorials and practical classes, the Assistant Lecturer will be required to develop educational materials required for use in self-directed practical classes and case-based interactive small group teaching and radiological teaching in medicine using the new Sectra tables.

The successful applicant will have an understanding of pedagogical processes in tertiary education, satisfactory knowledge of human topographical anatomy, as appropriate for a junior clinician to practice under supervision, or for a scientist to conduct independent research.An MBBS degree (or equivalent), a PhD in Anatomy and Development Biology or a related discipline, and engagement in relevant research is strongly preferred.
