Postdoctoral/research Fellow Humanitarian Health

Australian National University, Australia is inviting excellent candidates to apply for a postdoc position. The initial contract for this position is 2 years and posible to extend. Eligible candidates should submit the applications before November 04, 2018.

Term: Full time, Fixed term (2 years), Part time or job sharing could be offered for the right person.

The Humanitarian Health Research Initiative aims to address the most important health challenges facing those living in the most difficult circumstances globally. The team is seeking a postdoctoral researcher with a commitment and willingness to work in partnership with communities and health service providers in settings of armed conflict, disasters and complex emergencies.

You will contribute to research that addresses challenges identified as priorities by our partners - maternal and child health, family and sexual violence and emerging and neglected infectious diseases. To be successful in this position, will have a background in a health-related field and be a team player with excellent research and communication skills. This position is planned to be full-time, but part-time work or job-sharing could be offered for the right applicant.
