Imperial College London is offering postdoc position in spectroscopy. Applicants should apply before November 11, 2018.

A Research Associate Position in spectroscopy of hybrid solar cells within a RCUK funded project entitled "Strategic University Network to Revolutionise Indian Solar Energy (SUNRISE)" is available at Imperial College London. The Researcher will prepare hybrid inorganic - organic materials and investigate the parameters influencing perovskite solar cell performance and stability. They will use techniques such as steady state and time resolved laser based optical spectroscopy to also investigate charge separation / recombination in such devices. The project will involve collaboration with a large consortium involving leading research groups in India as well as groups in the UK (e.g. Swansea, London Southbank, Cambridge and Oxford). You should hold, or be about to hold (submitted) a PhD in Chemistry or closely related subject. A background in hybrid solar cells, perovskite solar cells, expertise in transient optical spectroscopy, experience with solar cell fabrication and characterization, a strong publication record and the ability to write research papers is required. The ability to work within a mutli-disciplinary research group will also be important. The position will be supervised by Dr Saif Haque.

Candidates who have not yet been officially awarded their PhD will be appointed as Research Assistant within the salary range 33,380 – 35,061 per annum.
