Postdoc Position at University of Cambridge

University of Cambridge has an opening postdoctoral scholar position in molecular biology. The funding allows successful candidate to work for 5 years. Eligible candidates should submit the applications before October 23, 2018.

Applications are invited for a post-doctoral researcher to work with Professor Ziad Mallat in the Department of Medicine on a project grant to investigate the interaction of immune and vascular cells and their roles in shaping the vascular response to injury.

Applicants must have a PhD degree. The preferred candidate will have experience in immunology and vascular biology; experience in molecular biology techniques will be advantageous.

Candidates will be required to work independently and be accountable for their project, as well as working closely and collaboratively with other members of the team.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available until 31 July 2020 in the first instance, renewable up to 5 years subject to obtaining further funding.

The closing date is 23rd October 2018. The interview date is TBC.
