This is a 3-year Fixed Term, Level B, full-time research and teaching position with the possibility of conversionsubsequently, subject to performance and availability of funds. We seek an appointee who has expertise in cognitivepsychology. Cognitive Psychology is a research strength within RSP, with sixacademic staff members across all career stages specialising inthis area. Their research interests include, but are not limited tovisual attention and perceptual processing encompassing faceperception, object and motion perception, the interplaybetween emotion and attention, particularly in clinical groups, the attentional breadth and its cognitive consequences, and

Collectively, members of this research group have contributed atotal of $23.5 million in external grant funding, the group has

amassed a total of >16,500 citations for their work, and havemore than 50 high-citation (>100 citations per paper) papers.

The group regularly collaborate on research, grants, andstudent supervision. This group includes senior staff members

such as a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Social Sciences, providing excellent opportunities for mentoring of early-career

The physical resources include two School EyeLink eye trackers, an EEG and Psychophysiology laboratory, and numerousbehavioural testing suites. This position will make a contribution to the School's teaching at Southwest University in China.

You will be joining an internationally recognised leading team of academics with a focus on achieving excellence in research and teaching. The School comprises academics working across all major areas of psychology including cognitive, clinical, health, developmental and social psychology.
