The Cognitive Neurology Laboratory at Monash University, together with the Decision Neuroscience Laboratory at the University of Melbourne's School of Psychological Sciences, are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly qualified Post-Doctoral Research Fellow to be part of an exciting program of ARC-funded research in decision neuroscience. The project will examine the neuroscience of value-based decision-making and preference formation in humans, using techniques including computational modelling, pharmacological interventions, electroencephalography (EEG), functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), and brain lesion studies. Experience and expertise in one or more of these techniques is highly desirable. The Fellow's primary appointment will be at Monash University, and will be jointly supervised by Dr Trevor Chong (Monash University) and Dr Stefan Bode (University of Melbourne).

The successful applicant will work closely with the principal investigators on all aspects of the research program, including paradigm development; data acquisition and analysis; and dissemination of findings. Within this role you will further contribute to the supervision of PhD and Honours students. The position offers a unique opportunity to engage in research across two of the best research institutions in the country, benefiting from the rich infrastructure across both universities, and to receive mentoring and training in two leading laboratories.
