Research Associate at Imperial College London

Imperial College London is delighted to offer a postdoctoral scholar position. This fellowship is available for all students around the world. The funds for this fellowship are available for 12 months. Applications are welcome before October 03, 2018.

Applications are invited for the post of Research Associate to work within Professor Sebastian Johnston's group in the Airways Disease Section of the National Heart & Lung Institute at Imperial College London.

You will work on an Industry funded biomedical research project with a therapeutic and prophylactic focus. You will be a highly motivated Research Associate with experience of in vivo experimental models of disease

The work will involve a variety of techniques to investigate vaccine development against human rhinoviruses. You will have a PhD in Biological Sciences and relevant research experience. You should have proven experience of research methods, laboratory practice and techniques with experience of working with complex in vivo models. You should have biosciences experience and a Home Office Personal Licence. You will be technically competent at a high level to ensure up to date support for research. You should integrate with the group with a cooperative, enthusiastic and flexible approach.

This work is based at St Mary's Campus, Paddington. This post is full-time and fixed-term for 12 months.
