Research Assistant at University of Cambridge

Applications are invited for two Research Assistants to join the group of Prof David Rowitch (Dept. of Paediatrics, University of Cambridge). You will join a collaborative project with Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute as the part of Human Cell Atlas (HCA) consortium to image large thick tissue sections in a high-throughput mode for spatial transcriptomics.

Candidates must be highly motivated and have the ability to work independently, have excellent record keeping skills, be communicative and enjoy working in an interdisciplinary team and have a good command of English (spoken and written).

Applicants will ideally have a degree in biological, engineering or computer sciences (or equivalent) and experience of working in a research laboratory. Training and support will be provided in spatial transcriptomics and image analysis. There might be a need to travel between sites.
