Postdoc Position at University of Cambridge

A new postdoctoral fellowship position in bioinformatics is available at University of Cambridge. This position is closed on October 28, 2018.

We are learning more and more about the tissue lymphocytes populating the uterus. We are indeed a few steps away from finding out what they do. How do they help the fetus to grow? Do they fight infection? Do they retain memory of pregnancy? Apply today and you may be the one who discovers just that!

You can find out more about our work in Filipovic et al.

Nature Communications (PMID28874785, PMID24577131), Cell Reports (PMID26711346), Journal of Clinical Investigation (PMID:24789879), Journal of Immunology (PMID26371244). A list of publications from the lab can be found at https://www.obgyn.cam.ac.uk/research/the-colucci-group/

You will work with a dynamic team of talented PhD students, a dedicated Research Assistant and a Laboratory Manager within a close collaboration with a Bioinformatician. You will have access to transgenic mice lacking specific subsets of Group 1 ILCs, infection models, Flow and Mass Cytometry (including Imaging Mass Cytometry), RNA-sequencing, 3D-micro-CT imaging to study fetal organ development, and other, conventional methods. The lab collaborates with research groups within the Department and the School and with other labs within the Centre for Trophoblast Research.
