PhD Position : Towards Monitoring Photocatalytic Process in A Tem

The Laboratory for in situ nanomaterials characterization with electrons (INE) at the Institute of Materials at EPFL in Lausanne invites applications of highly motivated individuals to develop novel in situ techniques in order to probe photocatalytic processes within a liquid cell holder at a transmission electron microscope equipped with a cathodoluminescence detector and a direct electron camera.

Person specification

Candidates should hold a Master degree in an engineering discipline with preference in materials science, mechanical engineering or microtechnique. Previous demonstrated, hands-on experience with a transmission electron microscope is preferred. Proficiency in spoken and written english is a must. Application process
