Lecturer, International Relations

The ANU College of Asia and the Pacific (CAP) leads intellectual engagement with the Asia-Pacific region through research, teaching and contributions to public debate, and seeks to set the international standard for scholarship concerning the region.

The Coral Bell School of Asia Pacific Affairs is located within CAP, and is a world-leading centre for research, education and policy analysis in the international, political, societal, diplomatic and strategic affairs of Asia and the Pacific.

The Department of International Relations is seeking to appoint three lecturers on fixed term, three-year contracts.
- Lecturer – two (2) positions. For these roles, we welcome applicants from any field/sub-discipline of International Relations, especially in the areas of Asia-Pacific Security, Peace and Conflict Studies, Human Security, and US Foreign Policy in the Asia-Pacific.
- Lecturer (Engagement) – one (1) position For this role, we have a strong preference for applicants with a research focus on Australian Foreign Policy/Australia in global affairs, and a proven track record of engagement with business and government sectors.

The successful applicants will be expected to contribute to the teaching, research and outreach endeavours of the Department.
