Four Fully Funded ESRC Studentships at the University of Edinburgh

Applicants are invited to apply for 4 PhD fellowships in economics at University of Edinburgh. This funding is available for all students around the world. Applicants should apply before March 31, 2016.

As a PhD student your research will be part of the ESRC large grant on credit and labour market foundations of the macroeconomy (2015-2020) led by Professor John Hardman Moore. The project includes nine other co-investigators from the School of Economics at Edinburgh together with international investigators from Princeton, Michigan, Rochester, Pennsylvania, Amsterdam and Stockholm. These co-investigators will help support you as you conduct research that will make a significant impact on both academia and practice.
We have four fully funded studentships available, these include £ 17,057 per year (including £ 3,000 economics enhancement) plus tuition fees.
Application Requirements
- To be admitted to our doctoral programme, you must obtain a distinction in a recognised Masters degree in economics plus a distinction level at the dissertation stage.
- All applications will be assessed on the basis of qualifications and research potential.
