Postdoc Position at Okinawa

The Cell Signal Unit (Prof. Tadashi Yamamoto) is offering a post-doctoral position to address brain function with a focus on learning and memory formation, as well as the control of energy metabolism. Provides technical supports for the molecular and cellular biological studies on intracellular signaling that occurs in response to environmental stimuli such as food and stress The Unit studies molecular and cellular mechanisms by which living organisms maintain homeostasis while coping with environmental changes.

- Relocation, housing and commuting allowances.
- Annual paid leave and summer holidays.
- Health insurance (Private School Mutual Aid, welfare pension insurance (kousei-nenkin), worker 's accident compensation insurance (roudousha-saigai-hoshou-hoken)
Contract initially with a 3-month probationary period (inclusive).

Application Requirements
- Required. Ph.D. in a life science field.
- Significant experience performing molecular cell biological experiments.
- First-author paper(s) published in high-quality international journal(s).
- Good English skills.
