PhD Scholarship in Social Sciences

Ulster University is delighted to offer PhD position in social sciences. All students regardless of citizenship are eligible to apply. Applicants should apply before May 2015.

Applications are now invited for the International Fund for Ireland Research studentship in Social Sciences at Ulster University's International Conflict Research Institute (INCORE) and Institute for Research in Social Sciences.
The studentship will cover all tuition fees and a maintenance award of not less than £ 14,057 per annum for a period of up to three years (subject to satisfactory progress) and is tenable in the Faculty of Social Sciences at the Magee, Belfast or Jordanstown Campus.
Application Requirements
Candidates should hold, or expect to hold a first or upper second class honours degree in the Social Sciences or a cognate area. Applications will be considered on a competitive basis with regard to the candidate's qualifications, skills experience and interests. Successful candidates will enroll as of 1 October 2015, on a full-time programme of research studies leading to the award of the degree of Doctor of Philosophy.
